I replaced the Shifter Brake lock mechanism ( pink thingy) today with the BT replacement. If any of you have been hesitant to do this , don't be it was easy. I had everything apart and back together in 40min. and that included looking for a screw that I dropped.

The pink plastic piece is known to break without warning, leaving you stuck . When the piece breaks the shifter will not come out of park.
