ok i have a set of TIS 07< seen below. my question is that i know the lip has a piece of metal over lapping the actual lip. now i plan to get these powder coated to resell them to fix scratches and things. i kno in the powder coating process, they will most likely seperate from the rim. does anyone kno if this extra metal lip is necessary for when the tires go back on?
